Then this voyage is for you, visiting multiple NASA and affiliate sites within the USA.
After flying to Los Angeles and connecting flight to Washington DC you will spend the next 2 full days visiting the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Arlington cemetery and other museums and viewing points of interest, perhaps, The White House, Lincoln Memorial or The Mall and Washington Monument or The Pentagon? If time available visit another museum on way to airport and see the SR71B, Space Shuttle Discovery and more.
Then fly to Orlando to visit the Kennedy Space Center (KSC), where for 3-4 days you can visit historic and tour the historic Mercury, Gemini and Apollo launch sites, have lunch with an astronaut, see a real Saturn V rocket and Space Shuttle Atlantis or visit Mission Launch Control complex and so much more. An extra day to relax can be arranged to shop or maybe visit Disney World – Epcot.
Then it’s off to Houston to visit Houston Space Center for a 2 nights stay over, to see where astronauts actually train and prepare for their International Space Station missions and visit Mission Control, then onto Los Angeles to visit Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, for 1/2 day tour see actual where planetary robots, like Voyager, Galileo and Curiosity space craft were made and JPL mission control room, finishing with another rest day, before flying home.
